1995

The Road Runner collection was premiered on the catwalk of the Fashion Week in Opatija, Croatia, in 1995, when Mandali Mendrilla, then called Maya Mendrilla, was only 19 years old.

The collection was awarded the Fashion Week Design Excellence Grand Prix award.

Road Runner was Mandali Mendrilla’s first catwalk collection. It was featured as the intro collection every day of the Fashion week, introducing the new designer to the public. The Road Runner collection is a comical rendering of the fashion system, mass media marketing and the human obsession with sexuality.
